Dandruff is usually thin flakes that obviously, flake from your scalp. If you talking about small little "ball-like" substance that come from your scalp, it's probably just excess sebum from your hair follicle pores. However, if you try to get it off your hair, and it doesn't come off, it's a possibilitly that it might be lice eggs. But if think you have lice, you'll be able to see it if you examine closely. If you don't see any, then you probably don't have lice!

∙ 8y agoDandruff looks like dry skin. Actually, it IS dry skin, but it comes off of your head. If you have never had dry skin, then Dandruff looks like little white flakes.
