The first organ is the mouth. the mouth chops all the food into little pieces. then it goes down the esophagus and from the esophagus it is the stomach then idk the rest
--teeth:
To chew and grind food into smaller pieces.
--tongue:
-To roll the chewed food in to a ball and push it down to the gullet. (swallow)
-To mix the food with saliva.
--saliva:
-soften & moisten the food.
-break down food in to simplier substences. Because it contain digestive juices.
________________________________________________________________
---Stomach: (stay for 4 hours)
-made of muscules
-contain digestive juices
-mix food with digestive juice

---Small intestine: (stay for 4 hours)
-contain more digestive juices.
-break down food into simplier substences.
-absorb the digested food. (nutrients)
Actually, the parts of the digestive system is the first stage were it is in the mouth being chewed up. Them is pushed down by the throat muscles and into the esophagus. Third stage goes to the stomach, and is melted into little smaller pieces. Fourth stage it goes to the small intestines(Which can be 6 meters -20feet-long.)is where the food changes into nutrients that cell can use.
the most important nutrients is sugar. ( not the sugar u put in your cereal!!!!)Fifth part , the undigested food leave the small intestines and enters the larger intestines.By this time, most of the nutrients have been taken out.Bacteria living in the colon break down the remaining usable food. Water is taken out of the food. The remaining material is composed to fiber, indigestible material, and dead bacteria. This is called feces(poop). The feces moves into the rectum. The waste is held until it can be eliminated through the anus. ( Note: I'm only a fifth grader and I can right ALL OF THIS, from the brain.. ) Thank you.
Mouth- An opening for food into the system, and also the first place where mechanical digestion (chewing) and chemical digestion (saliva) takes place.
Epiglottis- A flap of skin that keeps food from entering the respiratory system and from going down the trachea.
Esophagus- The tube that the food travels down to reach the stomach.
Stomach- The main place of mechanical digestion. Food is churned here and becomes chyme when mixed with juices from the liver and pancreas.
Liver- Produces bile.
Gallbadder- Stores bile and empties it into the stomach.
Pancreas- Produces pancreatic juices.
Small intestine- Absorbs nutrients from the chyme mix.
Large intestine- Absorbs water from the mix.
Rectum- Stores the compacted stuff.
Anus- A hole in the body from which the remaining wastes are released from the body.
what are the 3 major parts of the digestive system the stomach?
The digestive system has several different parts. Some of the associated parts in the system are the mouth, esophagus, stomach and intestines.

The circulatory system works with digestive system to circulate the nutrients to all the body parts. The nutrients are digested and absorbed by the digestive system. The circulatory system circulates the nutrients throughout the body.
