Answer
The word score originates from Old English scoru"twenty," from Old Norse skor "mark, tally", in the sense of say, a shepherd making a mark on a tally stick when counting sheep. Its use in the Bible is simply that of a common word at the time of translation then falling into disuse though language change.
90
Four
Score is an old English term meaning a group of twenty, so 2 score and 6 means 46 (20+20+6)
It depends. Good is a relative term so good to me may not mean good to another person and I don't know what you mean by "score". 132 is not your average so I assume you mean score as in iq. Well my iq is 145 so I would say it good but could be better
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
If you mean nth term 2n then the 1st four terms are 2 4 6 and 8
They are referring to the term "four score" Score is twenty, so four score (80) plus 20 is 100 so yeah 100 Blackbirds in a pie.
The term 'score' is not found in many English translations.
A score is 20 years. Four score is 80 years. Thank Abe Lincoln for bringing this wonderful term to us in a way that it keeps "hanging on" through generations that might have forgotten other old units of measure.
This question has been answered."90.A "score" is 20. Four score = 80The term "score" was a commonly-used Middle English word, from the Old English "scoru," which meant "twenty." More than likely this, in turn, came from the Norse skor.As a side note, the term "score" in this context was a common English term even in the early days of the USA; Abraham Lincoln's famous Gettysburg Address includes the phrase, "Four score and 7 years ago." There is nothing inherently religious about it, except that the term is used often in the King James Version of the Bible.Biblically, the correct term is 'three-score years and ten' (Psalm 90: 10) suggesting that the normal lifespan in Biblical times was 70."
Score is an old term meaning 20. Similarly, we still use dozen to mean 12 of anything. The most famouse example I know is when Abe Lincoln used "Four score and seven years ago" in a speech. It was a fancy way of saying 87 years. So 7 score of whatever you are counting would be 7x20=140 of them.
The soccer term "finishing" means to finish the ball or to score.

When using the math term, spread, it means the distance between two numbers. For example, if a football score ends with a score of 25 to 17, the spread is 8.
It is a golf term. It means to score three under par on a hole. If your par is four, you would have to get a hole in one to score a double eagle. If your par is five, you would score 2. This term is an outdated one, and is rarely used because it is rarely applicable.
I'm not sure of the origin of the term "lid," (it may have come to us from Britain) but a "lid" is a quantity of marijuana that is approximately one ounce. A "lid" was typically sold in baggies. To "score a lid" therefore simply means to purchase an ounce of marijuana.
