What does it mean by mc mansions are banned in meadow cliff subdivion? |
[Edit] |
Answer
McMansions refers to the larger than normal houses many people are building in what is now a declining housing and building boom. With the market the way it has been and with Americans' penchant for everything large, many homeownres have had enormous houses built that stand out in relatively normal subdivisions. When the market cools again, these neighborhoods will be left with gigantic houses dotting the streets. Many housing divisions are now taking a stand, limiting the number of square feet a house can contain in order to keep some kind of uniformity to the land. You can google "McMansions" for further learning.
