There are a few things that I know of that could cause this: abrasion from over-brushing; Allergies; or even a dermatitis or salivary gland infection. Without seeing it, it's hard to tell. Try this: Mix up some warm salt water -- just tap water with 2 tsp salt to 1 cup of water. Use that to swish it around under your tongue where it's irritated. Spit it out when you're done, of course. See if that helps. If it doesn't get better in a day or so, or other symptoms show up, consider seeing a doctor.
It means that the under tissue of your tongue has been under a lot of stress all of a sudden like if you eat tough foods or even in gymnastics where you get really stressed or stiff in your whole body. So eat softer foods, relax, and it will be gone less than 2 days! Good Luck:)
sore under tongue is nothing but the yellow ulcer around the tongue. It will go away by own in a few days even though you can consult with doctor if any bleeding on the gums.
That can sometimes mean you are sucking it to the top of your mouth too much, or you are moving it around too much.
Well after you get your tongue piercing, I think it hurts because the ball is being pushed up on the bottom, and its probably bruised, like mine is. So I know what you are feeling.
If it's new, it's normal. Otherwise, go see your piercer. It might have slled because you are sick or something and the bar is too short. Just go see your piercer :3
well you can swallow it. you can get infected if you eat something. your tongue can become swollen.
If it is pussing or it hurts to the touch after healing. See also swollen.
yes it's just swollen for a couple days after you get it.
I've had my nose done, and now i have my tongue. I say that the nose hurts more, but it depends on the people, but the tongue is one of the piercing that hurt less.. For the people that say the clamps are the worst, their wrong. But trust me, it really doesn't hurt that bad. All you have to do is be careful, you have a hard time eating because your tongue is so swollen.
its not so much the swelling that hurts, its the fact you have a bar shoved through your tongue, and it hurts for like a week. the next day is horrible you can move your tongue at all and you talk with a lisp for a week or two
It means you have a tongue piercing. Nothing more, nothing less.
No one understands your ungrammatical/incomplete sentence. Also, there really is no such thing as a tongue ring, though there theoretically could be. I believe you mean a tongue STUD.
yes you can but just make sure you put it back it because if you don't your hole will close back up and it do try to find your hole and take your tongue ring a twist the ring back into the hole
Well actually she would have a "tongue piercing" not a "tongue ring" and it means nothing other than she has and enjoys piercings and to think anything other than that is just wrong on your part.
I don't have a white ring under my tongue.
There is no "lock on a tongue ring" and it's not a ring it's a barbell.
If its new and still swollen, the swelling might make it look crooked. If it isnt swollen and still looks crooked, its gonna stay that way. People might make comments if its noticeably crooked but if you dont have a problem with it, its fine
