Prison Dream Meaning Psychological Meaning:You may feel that your life is restricted at the moment and your dream reflects your need to change your routines. To release yourself you may need to make major changes to your waking life. Another interpretation is that you are restricted by behaviour that enslaves you or you have repressed your emotions. If you dream of someone else in prison this may represent the element of your personality which you are unable to set free. To dream that you are in prison, indicates that you are being censored in some area of your life. You feel that your creativity is being limited and that you are not allowed to express yourself.

A dream that you went to jail means you are feeling trapped and not free to do what you want.

this means that you may be feeling trapped, or maybe guilty about something that you did recently. think back; have you done anything that you don't feel was the right thing to do?
This dream suggests feelings of being restricted or confined, prevented by others from doing what one wishes or needs to do.

The meaning of this dream depends on the dreamer's real life circumstances. If the dreamer does not know any actual incarcerated persons, the dream represents feelings of being limited and confined. Alternatively, if the dreamer has been communicating with a real-life prisoner, the dreamer needs to consider the possibility that he/she might be subject to emotional manipulation by that person.

If your dream is a more literal one, maybe someone you love is in prison in real life. Perhaps you combined a recent story about someone going to prison with an incident or fear you have involving your loved one.

On a more figurative level, a prison could represent powerlessness, feeling trapped, or feeling "boxed in" or "caged." The loved one could feel that you or someone they know are smothering them. If you are in love with a person who is already married or in a relationship, then you might see that other relationship as a prison sentence.

It means that going back to jail is on your mind. There's nothing magical about dreams. Perhaps you're worried because you've recently committed a crime?

It does not have to mean anything when you keep having dreams where you get locked up. You may just be worried about things in your life and need to relax.
