What does it mean if you have bluish blackish marks on your tongue?

Before you jump to conclusions about having a disease or cancer consider the following? Are these bluish black marks changing shape? Also, are they painful? If you answered no I think your bluish black marks are just blood vessels in your tongue and nothing to concern yourself with.
