When a bearded dragon's beard turns brown it is usually a sign of stress. Sometimes the entire dragon will turn a darker color than normal. When that happens look at the conditions the habitat is in. Is the temperature right? Does it have food? Did you spray it with water lately? Was someone handling it too rough? I currently have 5 beardies. On rare occations if 1 turns color it has always been stress related. If you have more than 1 dragon try seperating them. It could be that the other dragon is causing the stress.
