means your battery isn't being charged by the alternator. What originally seemed like a flat battery being the problem, would more than likely be the alternator At Fault, which will drain the battery, not keep it charging on the move, hence, battery light displayed on your dash.
Before jumping to the spares shop, check all the connecting wiring between these components, in case of any loose connections
The most probable cause is a bad connection somewhere in the alternator > battery circuit. Check if the alternator is operational. Clean all contacts with a steel brush.
why? did your car was stolen and you replaced the factory steering column with a salvaged fire bird steering column now your car wont start or even turn over and the security light stays on why?
It is more than likely a dead cell in the battery. If this is the case the battery must be replaced. It can also be that a light on the vehicle somewhere is on pulling power from the battery. Can be under hood light, trunk light, glovebox light, courtesy light, or even the brake lights. Can also be that you have a relay that is stuck closed. This can be a Power Seat rely, power window relay, or any other relay vehicle.
the problem is in your high beam switch. there is a short in it and it needs to be replaced
A battery that runs down overnight is normally caused by a dead cell in that battery. The only fix is to replace the battery. It can also be caused by any light that is left on, on the vehicle. Dome light, under hood light, trunk light, glovebox light, or even brake lights that our on due to a sticking brake light switch. A relay that is sticking can also cause this. Disconnect the negative battery cable and let the vehicle sit overnight. If the battery is still charged the next morning then you know the battery is good. If the battery is dead then you know the battery has a dead cell and must be replaced.
you may need to go to your local shop and if they are equiped with one get them to attach there scanner to the vehicle and clear the codes for you.
The battery has a temperature sensor. If it was left unplugged, the battery light will still be on
cause the tensen pulley could be going bad an my need to be replaced or even your alternater pulley can be getting ready to go bad
This same thing happened to me. The battery light would come on but my car would run fine then a few days later my engine started overheating and it turned out the fan belt had went. Once i replaced the fan belt everything was fine.
This is not a battery problem. Your charging system, the alternator, is not putting out enough juice to charge the battery until you reach 4000 rpm. Have the alternator and charging system checked.
A gearbox warning light that stays on even when the fluid light stays on may mean that there is something more serious going on with your car. Your Fiat should be taken to a mechanic to get checked.
Batteries should be replaced about every 3 to 5 years, some can even last seven. However, it is obvious that if the battery dies (with no ability to "jump"), is corroted, or gets a dead cell in it then it should be replaced.
