well that can mean 2 different things: 1.they like you and they dont wont anyone to know; OR 2. they dont like you at all. It probably means that this person is not very nice and certainly not worthy...
when someone declare that you are mean, he/she means that you are not nice or you did disappoint her/him at the point or action been made from you.Hope you are clear now.
