What does it mean to see a halo?

You do not say where you have seen or expect to see a halo. A halo of light can at times be seen around the sun and the moon. If you are referring to holy halos as seen in a picture around a righteous persons head, this is only symbolic of their righteousness.
Halos do not exist as such, but this does not mean that Holy Angels may not at some time be seen with a glorious light surrounding them.
