Answer
You should take the child to a doctor, but when my son had a lump in an area behind his ear and close by his neck, with fever, he had strep throat.
ANOTHER ANSWER
It could also indicate an infection of the sinus system. Have your child seen at a clinic, family doctor or an ENT doctor (ear, nose and throat doctor) <<<ADR>>>
