Saying "I love you" can mean a lot depending who it is coming from, while these 3 words can mean nothing to another saying them. It's how a person treats you that matters.
Men are not famous for continually telling a woman that he loves her and they just don't understand why women need to be told that constantly. I think you are one lucky lady to have such a wonderful guy in your life. How he treats you is much more important that "I love you" blown on the wind.

The lack of verbally communicating the words can be and usually is DELIBERATE. If he can't tell you, he will stop showing you and then you realize you're committed to a jerk. The words are self-affirming and can renew the acts. Otherwise his "actions", although seemingly considerate and loving, are performed by rote and he gets bored with them and then you. Guys don't think so much about what we say. Don't try to look too much into it for some alterior motive. If it's incredibly stupidly obvious, you probably nailed it. But running for the hills is just silly, unless you're on a cross - country team.
AnswerHe may feel that you know he loves you, so doesn't need to say it anymore. This could be seen as a sign of trust.On the other hand, it may mean he's trying to see what he can get away with. I think you should casually bring it up. Watch a movie or something where love is confessed then half-jokingly say 'when was the last time we said 'I love you'?'. It should show you aren't controlling but aren't going to be treated as a joke.

∙ 18y agoSaying 'I love you' too many times can lose its meaning. It is through actions and indirect words that you know he loves you. The way you phrase your question might indicate that he is using you for sex. But, do you feel he loves you? You actually do know. Like is he considerate of your feelings and respects you? Sex might be a way of expressing love. Especially if he does not neglect your needs.

∙ 11y agoI could mean nothing. It could mean something heart breaking. If he isn't saying it AND not following up with plans or seems bored, you could be in trouble. I would suggest sitting down to a homemade dinner just the two of you and confront him about it! You go girl!
