If code p01750 or p0751 it the solenoid sensor in the transmission. Take the pan cover off(bottom-front right side of transmission. It's right there bolted in with a wire harness protruding to the top of the transmission case. You'll have to remove the battery and its tray first. This sensor controls your shifting electronically.
It will usually come on. The speed sensor on my transmission died and it displayed the check engine light.
Every sensor on the engine and transmission can cause the light to come on.
It should...
yes
A bad knock sensor would illuminate the check engine light and allow the engine to ping (spark knock). The engine doesn't shift, the transmission shifts.
Bad speed sensor.
The oxygen sensor is one of many things that could turn the check engine light on.The oxygen sensor is one of many things that could turn the check engine light on.
That is what the check engine light is for. It informs you of a failure.
Yes, an unplugged sensor can cause a check engine light.
There is not one sensor. All the ECM sensors are tied to the check engine light.
The light and the speedo are probably the same problem. The VSS vehicle speed sensor is located at the back of the transmission by the right drive axle Check if the connector is secure If ok replace the sensor.
Have electronic vehicle speed sensor in transmission checked out. It will cause loss of speedometer function and set a fault code(check engine light).
