I had gestational Diabetes with my first pregnancy and when they first found out they did a sono and told me the same thing...but when i had him he was only 5lbs 10oz, They told me sometimes measurements can be off. But if big babies run in the family or if you have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes than it would be completely normal.
It depends on when the ultrasound is done. An early ultrasound will show a growing fetus, since we all start with 2 dividing cells - measurements made from any pregnancy in the first 3 months will be very similar in size, for dates.
After 16 weeks your baby's genetic make up will start effecting his growth, you may just have bigger babies than the average for your stage of pregnancy - another option is that you may have conceived 3 weeks earlier than you thought - making your baby 3 weeks further along.
Usually "large for dates", is not as concerning as a baby who starts measuring small for dates. The exception being a diabetic mom whose sugar levels are too high.
yes three days bigger 7 + 7 + 3 = 17
after three weeks of being pregnant then you can start to feel the puppies kick. but before then she will start to get bigger and bigger. then finaly after 9 weeks or so out comes the pups!
nothing every child grows at a different rate at a different time no worries with in a week is not a big deal
The answer is: it just depends. What exactly do you mean by "measuring three weeks too big." Belly measurement? Ultrasound estimation of weight/due date? Or do you mean the baby is already born and it appears to be three weeks farther along than you thought? A newborn is hospitalized until it is able to breathe well on its own, stay warm on its own, and eat well, and be gaining weight. For full-term infants (38+ weeks), these things aren't usually an issue, but for preterm infants, they can be a challenge. Size doesn't correlate to maturity.
Three months
Dogs open their eyes between one and two weeks.
No, 4 weeks in a month.
Three weeks is very early to start showing. On a slim person, you might see a little bit of a baby bump at 5 weeks at the earliest.
52 weeks in a year, 2 x 52 = 104, so No. 2 years is bigger than 100 weeks.
Yes, it should do. At 6 weeks, it won't have got much bigger. I would expect it would take about 6 weeks for it to get back to its normal size again.
YES because quickening is felt at 18 to 20 weeks.
64 weeks
