What does it mean when your ex wants to keep photos of you that you gave him when he wants nothing to do with you and ignores you all the time and avoids you as much as possible?

It might just be that he hasn't gotten over you yet but he still wants to keep pictures of you so every now and then he can look back and remember what you look like or maybe he's telling you he's really just trying to pretend like he doesn't care anymore but deep in his heart he still cares don't believe men they don't know what they want half the time.
AnswerIt depends on the photos. If they are sexual in nature (when you both were getting along) then it's a type of blackmail and he should give you the photos back! If they're just normal photos of you then he's what I call a "trophy hunter" and wants to show off the women he has conquered either to other guys or to impress other women he has his eye on. Christmas passed and I got no "Merry Christmass" even though she wanted us to be friends.I have been told that if they keep emails or photos it means that there are no hard feelings between you two. Another suggestion was that they are keeping them just in case they change their mind about the break up. But what if your ex already has someone else in their life? It could be that they enjoyed their time with you and they want to keep that time on record through photos. I would like to think that they are processing the break up and making a solid decision which can explain the avoiding and ignoring aspect. Maybe they need time alone to analyze the situation and make sense of it before making that "mistake".
What I don't understand is the whole ignoring part. It's like she dropped off the face of the earth and doesn't want me to know about it. She is cold and distant.
Like I said, I'm in the same situation and it hurts. It hurts because you don't know what their intentions are. It hurts when you haven't gotten closure and they refuse to give it to you.
