A clunking sound when you accelerate or decelerate.
sound like a bad cv joint aka axle shaft check rubber boots on left and right axle if they are cracked and open chances are cv joint went bad from lack of luberication and contaminents
the cause of this is probably a bad u joint
Defective CV joint or bad wheel bearing.
Bad CV joint, loose rim, Loose caliper
Worn brake pads? Bad CV joint? Bad strut mount bearing? Worn tie rod end? Bad ball joint?
Tire could be unbalanced, wheel bearing shot, lower ball joint bad.
On Front Wheel Drives, when the CV Joint is going bad it will do this because the joint is not wearing out and when turned you get a clacking sound. I believe it is the CV joint opposite of the way you turn that is bad.
