It lets u get cool themes and backgrounds for free, free apps for free, (not all of the apple ones but very close!), and everybody thinks viruses will pop up but they dont. ive had mine jail broken 4 three years now and nothing happened!

Like everything & anything it does have it pros and cons
CONS:
-Slows down iPod
-can cause it to crash/break/harm(50-50 chance depending on the way you treat it)
-May need to Restore in order to fix iPod again
-goes against Apples warranty
PROs:
-you can do anything and everything you want with it
-you can customize it the way YOU want to NOT apples!
-more awesome and useful apps!
-Much more things you can do with it than an un-jailk-broken iPod..
