Car pooling assumes the following: 1)That you or someone you know owns and can legally drive a car or passenger carrying vehicle on a public road, 2)That you or they are legally allowed to carry passengers, 3)That you or they are WILLING to carry passengers for no profit, 4)That all parties are going in the same or similar direction(s), and 5)That the non-driving parties are able to arrange return journeys for themselves, either with the original driver or via another mode.
