What does rocking back and forth while awake indicate?

rocking back and forth is a way of self-soothing. I did it for years and years listening to music with my legs folded and daydream. It was like a high that I could do for hours on end. It became addictive. I rocked from 3 or 4 until 31 years old when I finally started to pull away from that fantasy and start living my life.

In a television ducumentation i found out that it meant emotional defeat, signs of stress or just plain boredom. You can of course also sooth youself when you are angry, just try to relax.
