Depends on the coverage you are trying to achieve. Cream will give the most coverage followed by liquid and the pressed and loose powder achieve a sheer coverage. Cream, liquid or pressed powder can be used under loose powder. Be sure to use a large fluffy brush for the loose powder application for the best result.
you can lighten a foundation by adding just a bit of moisturizer to it you should add a little at a time to get the desired look and coverage you want
Some bronzers can actually be used for coverage and foundation
Foundation is exactly what it claims to be-- foundation. It is the base off of which we build everything else involved in applying makeup. It keeps your makeup from moving around due to sweat, heat or the natural oils our skin produces. It will keep you looking fresher longer and will make your eye shadows more vibrant and last longer as well as keeping your liner from smudging as well as evening out your skin tone.Foundations have become skin treatments lately and there are loads of options out there. Some foundations have moisturizing properties and Vitamin E. Some have an SPF factor to protect your face from the sun. Some are made from completely natural properties and can reduce the oils your face produces naturally. There are also a great deal of choices when it comes to coverage. Coverage is how sheer or heavy your foundation is. Some foundations provide what is called "full coverage" but can still feel very light on your skin.If you are not used to wearing foundation or are worried about looking "made up", try a tinted moisturizer. This can provide many of the same functions as a foundation with a sheer and natural finish. You won't even know you have it on.I hope this has helped you!
Any foundation with the word sheer in the title will be transparent. Try Mac Cosmetic's Face and Body Foundation, Clinique's Almost Makeup, or any tinted moisturizer (Sephora has several)
You can lighten it by getting the same or similar coverage foundation and mixing the two together, making a lighter color with the same coverage. Be careful because some foundations don't mix well.
Flooding in general is typically not covered by a homeowners insurance policy. Flood coverage is a separate type of coverage. Bear in mind that not all policies offer the same coverage. It may just depend on what the cause of your foundation failure and if that cause is a covered peril. Best advice is to contact your insurance agent and ask about the foundation coverage and what perils it would be covered for
tinted moisturizer is exactly what it says, a tinted, skin coloured moisturizer, so it isnt really going to give you a lit of coverage. Depending on what type and brand of foundation you get, that will be the base of your coverage. For more coverage and 'cake face' you can add a powder over the top. Just make sure its not translucent, and then you'll get a nice coverage :)
A sheer foundation and bronzer and a smoky eye with clear lip gloss.
When you have acne you need a foundation with heavy coverage that will stay on oily skin and will not cause more acne. A liquid foundation will provide high coverage. If you want more coverage than that, set your liquid foundation in place with a layer of a powder foundation. Powder foundation alone will not provide enough coverage, and foundations that provide higher coverage are known to clog pores. Look for products designed for oily skin. Other products tend to crease or slide on oily skin, but these will be designed to stay put on your skin. There are foundations that include acne-fighting ingredients, these can be helpful, but if you have sensitive skin you probably want as few active ingredients as possible in the make-up. Make sure the make-up says non-comedogenic. This means that it will not clog your pores and create new acne.
