A skeletal muscle is, in general, a muscle that is attached to the bones of the skeleton through a tendon. They are used to provide movement to the body parts, or to maintain position or posture. They are sometimes refered to as the voluntary muscles, and comprise a third or (usually) more of the body, depending on gender and the amount of body fat of an individual. You'll find a link below to the Wikipedia post on muscles. Need more information on this subject? Surf on over and you'll get all you can do. It's free, too. it keeps the muscles safe the skeletal system is basically your skeleton/ bones so like your arms legs skull etc. skeletal muscles control your bones and make them move these are some of the jobs:

- create a smile or frown
- bend arms and lengs Skelital muscles hold your body up and most of create our structure.

Support, Protection, Movement, Maintain temperature, Gaurd Orfices, Allows Breathing
1. support

2. protection

3. movement

4. mineral homeostasis

5. blood cell production

6. storage
the function of the skeletal muscle cell, is in the movement and also to support the bone and connect them together.
Skeletal muscles are the mechanism for powering human movement.
Support, protection, movement, maintain temp, gaurd orfices, and allows breathing
Skeletal muscle moves the skeleton and is responsible for all our voluntary movements, as well as for the automatic movements required, for example, to stand, to hold up our head, and to breathe.
· Produce skeletal movement

· Maintains posture and body position

· Support soft tissues

· Guard entrances and exits

· Maintain body temperature

· Provide nutrient reserves
The function of the skeletal muscle are connection and relaxation of a move straited the bone bone muscle in vertebrate.
skeletal muscle is responsible for voluntary movements, such as typing on a keyboard, dancing or winking an eye.

protection, of the bones and organs.

to keep your body/bones together **i cant really remember**, like bones works with the muscels around the bone so you can move and the muscels are control by the brain...i think its something like that sorry if it wasnt what you needed.
if produces force and causes motion. That is what the skeletal muscle fiber (cell) does.
It is responsible for the voluntary movements of the body.

a skeletal muscle is the muscle that bilds the body and holds the skelatan in place. it is a volantary musle, meaning you must think about it to move it, and you can strankthen it with exursize; unlike an involantary mucle like the heart, whitch you can't strancthen with exursie and can't really weeken with exursize; also, you don't have to constantly think "pump pump" to make your heart go. one excample of a volentary mucle is the biceps. there are over 600 volentary muscles in the body. all skelatal muslec are volantary. the other 2 types of muscles are cardiac and smooth. there both involantary. skelatal muscles bend and contract and straten the parts of the body. they help you move by flexing and contracting.

i am in 6th grade and am doing homework on the subject.
