Single lens reflex.
A type of camera where you look through the picture taking lens in order to compose the picture. The image reflects upwards off of a mirror (that flips up out of the way at the moment of exposure). Then it travels through a fresnel lens (focusing screen), then through a penta-prism that reflects the image so that it comes out of the eyepiece as well as inverts it. Otherwise, it would be upside down to the eye.
