What does the Bible say about being single?

spouse . . . also that if your married to stay w' that

person . The Bible doesn't condemn relationships .

The single person can relate to God as his/her Lover (Hosea 2:19-20). Celibacy, which is the ability to remain single, is a spiritual gift that God has given some people, and those who have this gift have their sex drive muted or tuned down. Jesus Christ, the most famous single person ever, had the gift of celibacy (Matthew 19:12). The Bible encourages a Christian to remain single, if that person has the gift of celibacy, the spiritual ability to control his/her sexual desires (1 Corinthians 7:1-2,8-9). The Bible teaches that the single Christian can have a singular devotion to Jesus Christ. This gives the single Christian an advantage over the married person when it comes to being distracted from a single focus on the things of God. This single focus on the Lord may result in greater happiness for the single Christian as compared to the much distracted married Christian (1 Corinthians 7:32-33,35,40). ~mogama~

I take it you mean not married? The Bible no where says one must be married or one should be single. Paul-(Sha'ual) was correct when he said: "It is better to marry than burn." 1Cor.7:9

Here's what Paul says in 1Cor. 7:7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man has his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

So if you can stay single and pure (that parts is very important), you can dedicate more time for Yeshua (Jesus) and His Kingdom. But if anytime in the future you do get married, be very careful of having children in these end times, the bible or should I say Messiah Yeshua is very strong on this matter: Matthew 24:19 And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath Day:
