H2O means that there are 2 Hydrogen molecules bonded to 1 Oxygen molecule. I might add that H2O is the chemical symbol for water.
Answer
I would like to add that technically H2O Is a compound and not an element.
The two elements that are found in 1 molecule of water(H2O) are hydrogen and oxygen.
In a single Water (H2O) molecule, there are 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 Oxygen atom.
H2O is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
Hydrogen (H, two atoms present in H2O) and oxygen (O, one atom present per molecule H2O) are the two elements in water: H2O
H2O2 is known as hydrogen peroxide, its used in hairdye and cleaning cuts. However, 2H2O is just two molecules of water, the coefficient indicating how many molecules there are.
First off, H2O is not an element, but a molecular compound. Secondly, it's the chemical name for water.
