CW is an electronics term for continuous wave
Unfortunately, the Mitel SX20 is a PBX telephone system, not a radio transmitter. CW on the console means "Calls Waiting." When the attendant is using the console and additional calls are waiting to be answered, the CW lamp informs you of how many calls are unattended to and are currently ringing.
