What does the i in iPhone stand for?

"As announced for the very first iMac that came out in 98', the "i" stood for "Internet, Individual, Instruct, Inform, and Inspire".

The use of the "i" started with the iMac. The "i" stood for "internet" because the iMac could connect to the Internet without a bunch of wires. The "i" was then reborn with the iPod, then iTunes, iPhone, iPad, iWork, iLife, iMovie, iPhoto, iCloud and much more.

The i in iPhone is just Apple's "thing". They do it with all their products (Eg: iWork, iMac, iPod, iPad ect.) They do it to brand their products.

It's iPhone, not Iphone. The I doesn't stand for anything, it's the same as the I in iPod. If it WERE to stand for something it would be Intelligent, but it really doesn't stand for anything.

The iPhone is made by Apple. The 'i' in iPhone does not actually have a meaning although many people assumed it meant 'Internet'.
