sweeney todd was the demon barber of fleet street in London, its real, no lie.
if you watch the movie, they have added stuff to it fot a better plot, but what really happend was,
he was some sort of mad, crazy man. He used to own a barbers and when someone came for a shave alone, he would slit their neak, he got some sort of thrill from it, he killed loads, his wife owned a pie shop and she was just as loopy as him. To get rid of the bodies they cooked them in pies and sold them to innocent customers who thought they were eating beef or pork or something lol x Its a true story, go to the London dungens where the inprosoned him, it has more information there(sooo creepy)

Sweeny Todd has neither been proven fact nor fiction. There are no records from the 1800s, estimably when Sweeny Todd was supposed to have existed, that a barber by the name of Todd existed. Most scholars believe that Sweeny Todd actually came from an old horror story and from word of mouth. Sweeny Todd, or characters with Sweeny Todd characteristics, has made appearances in other works of literature, sorry but I'm not sure which but it's easy to find it on search engines.
