The Nucleus of the Hydrogen Atom contains a single proton. All other atoms contain protons and neutrons.

The only thing I want to know though is what an atom contains in the nucleus not just a hydrogen atom. Or Is it the same as a Hydrogen one?

Im asking this question in the answer box because I dont know how to ask a question.

There are two different items that the nucleus of an atom can contain, protons and neutrons.

The nucleus of a hydrogen atom contains one proton.

The nucleus of a helium atom contains 2 protons and 2 neutrons. The nucleus of many lithium atoms contain 3 protons and 3 neutrons. The name of the atom is determined by the number of protons. You can go to Uranium which has 92 protons and 146 neutrons in the nucleus of the most common variety.
The nucleus of an atom contains the neutrons and protons. The nucleus is usually positively charged.

The nucleus of an atom contains various particles of differing charges. It contains protons, which are positively charged; electrons, which are negatively charged; and neutrons, that are, as the name implies, neutral with no charge either way. It is important to understand that an atom must have the same amount of protons and electrons to cancel the charges out...or a number of neutrons which help to balance the two charges.

Positively charged protons and neutrons (which have no charge), the elements are defined by the number of protons they contain eg Hydrogen has 1, Helium 2, Lithium 3 and so on. The number of neutrons can differ within an element however leading to different isotopes eg Hydrogen 1 proton 0 neutrons, deuterium 1 proton 1 neutron, and tritium 1 proton 2 neutrons. Tritium is very radio active and decays into Helium 3 (2p 1n) via beta decay, however I have the feeling that I am going on a bit now so will leave it there.

Protons and neutrons
The nucleus of an atom contain protons and neutrons. Protons have a positive charge. While neutrons don't have a charge at all.

Every nucleus contains at least one proton. For every element except for the most common isotope of Hydrogen there are also neutrons.
