∙ 11y agoTHe starter is located on the passenger side of the engine near the exhaust pipe and transmission. You can get a diagram if you get yourself a Haynes manual at any auto prts stor.$30---well worth it.

∙ 18y agoThe starter is located over the front cross member. Remove front bottom plastic pan (approx. 2x4 ft.) behind the front bumper.
