The status bar in internet Explorer shows the progress and other status messages when opening a web page.
The Status bar is located at the bottom of any "explorer" window. This could be in Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Firefox or many other browsers. You can normally get this up by going to View>Toolbars>Status Bar (Ticked).
If a person has the developer tools installed for Internet Explorer and they would like to hide the developer bar, they would just click on IE which would immediately hide the tools. A person would have to install the developer tools in order for the developer bar to show up in Internet Explorer.
Note: Just open internet explorer and type website name on address bar. and then just press enter key.
