It means there is a problem with the transfer case, 4wd system.
try disconnecting the battery for 2-3 minutes and see if it clears.
if not get it decoded at AutoZone or Kragens with their scanner.
It may also be one of the Oxygen sensors. I had the same problem and Acura told me that the front O2 sensor needed to be replaced. When that happens, for whatever reason the 4wd system is automatically disabled until you replace it.
