What does the word d'este mean?

Answer

I believe it means "of the East", or "from the East".

If you are talking about spanish, my boyfriend uses the words "de este" all the time and when he says it fast it sounds like "deste." He uses it to mean thing, in the same way that we use the word "thing" or "that thing" in English when we are too lazy to use the correct word. For example if he wants to ask me if I have fixed my computer yet, he will say something like "¿Has arreglado tu, tu deste?

Answer

"De este" means literally "of this" in Spanish.

"D'este" means literally "of the east" or "from the east" in Italian.
