Paracetamol is the safest pain relief you can take and it won't affect the baby. But if you are taking it EVERY day you obviously have a problem and need to see a doctor.
By not taking it for 2 weeks will help clean it from your system it will be more effective if your building up a tolerance.

i got my tongue peirced 2 weeks on Thursday and i had no swelling .. just take strong ibrobrophen or paracetamol and youll be fine just listen to your peircer about how to care for it and don't eat solids for the first 2 days and that will cause more swelling :)

If you are referring to taking the morning after pill then this is a common side effect of MAP. However, I would recommend you perform a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after taking MAP. With regards to birth control, if you have not missed any pills then this is not normal. This usually indicates that the birth control you are on is not suitable for you or that you have conceived. I would recommend you see your Doctor for a change in medication. Meanwhile, use a condom continously from now until you have been taking the new birth control for 4 weeks.
