I am a school teacher teaching kindergarteners whose mothers have taken meth and they were born addicted to it, and YES!!!!!!!!!! OMG, it does affect them. If you are pregnant, stop using, do it for your baby. Think of the selfishness you are doing to a poor little baby. If you do not want your baby please give it up for adoption and do not raise your baby with drugs. The students in the past and present are so far behind all the other students,,it is so sad.

If the mother injected the drug, the baby could be born with a disease like hepatitis or HIV/AIDS. The baby may have a rapid heart rate & high blood pressure.
The baby is at a very high risk of experiencing other more serious health problems like being born prematurely, low weight at birth, heart defects, & other birth defects such as cleft lip or palate.
