Best Answer

In order to be elected president a candidate needs 270 electoral votes. Thus, the question is: Are there eleven states whose total electoral votes equal 270 or more. There are and they are:

California:55

Texas: 34

New York: 31

Florida: 27

Pennsylvania: 21

Ohio: 20

Illinois: 21

Michigan: 17

Georgia: 15

North Carolina: 15

New Jersey: 15

Total electoral votes: 271

Win these eleven states and you win the Presidency.
