In 1998, 1999 and 2002 Rita Moreno won the ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series (TV) for Oz; she also won the 1998 ALMA Lifetime Achievement Award. She won the 1962 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for West Side Story - she also won the 1962 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress and the 1962 Laurel Award for Best Supporting Actress for the same role.She was awarded Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Los Angeles Latino Film Festival (2004), The Nosotros Golden Eagle Awards (1997) The Retirement Research Foundation (1994) and the Wine Country Film Festival (2000). In 1995, she was awarded with a Star on the Walk of Fame for Motion Pictures. It is located at 7080 Hollywood Boulevard.
