The Rotascope, a specialized mechanical drawing machine was the workhorse of many an animated cartoonist. it was invented by Max Fleischer in l9l4. I am not aware of any amateur or hobby models available to the general public but shop around the art-supply houses. one hobby manufactuer did tool up a hobby Rotascope in the ealry fifties for a major mail order house and their toy and hobby sections!
