I'm not really sure that it would be considered "features", but both worshiped the same God, using the Old Testament (or Torah) as their holy writings/book. The main difference is that in Judaism, the Messiah never arrived. Whereas in Christianity, he did. This is why Christians also read out of the New Testament. In Judaism, the New Testament doesn't exist, because they don't believe that Jesus had already come and died on the cross for us.
Jewish ResponseIn truth, the only thing somewhat common between Judaism and Christianity is the Christian Old Testament which was based on the Tanach (Jewish Bible). However, the Christian OT isn't seen as a valid text by Jews due to the countless changes made to the text by the Christian Church to support the teachings of Christianity. Even the term "Old Testament" is offensive to Jews as it literally means 'old covenant' which was supposed to have been replaced by the 'new covenant' found in the Christian New Testament according to the teachings of Christianity.Otherwise, the two religions are diametrically opposed in their tenets as Christianity was essentially based on the rejection of Judaism. Furthermore, the Christian concept of 'messiah' doesn't exist in Judaism, it is a fully Christian concept.
