its the antifreeze
thats what i was afraid of
It sounds like you have a leaking intake manifold or head gasket. This needs to be repaired soon because the antifreeze will wear out the engine bearings very prematurely.
Radiator is sectioned off--one section for antifreeze engine coolant the other is a chamber for transmission fluid to circulate and cooled. The chamber in your has ruptured allowing fluids to mix. You may as well considered the transmission to be "cooked" by now antifreeze has infilterated transmission and torque converter.

If you look on the intake manifold of any engine you will find the firing order.
its to the rear of engine under the intake manifold
Pressure test system to observe leak
With the hood open, on the passenger side there is the overflow container for the rad. The cap might be pressurized if the engine is hot. You add the antifreeze there.
Remove intake manifold from top of engine. It's underneath See previous question about location of manifold
Your GM dealer sells a orenge fluid named DEX COOL. You must add a mixture 50% dex cool and 50% demineralized water.
