Depends on the child's chewing abilities. Table food would be acceptable, but try to stay away from things that could become lodged in the child's throat (hard candy, cut-up Hot Dogs, etc). Try things that you eat that can be easily mashed... (mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, etc. in other words, softer foods.

Well you can give him or her the baby food out the jar like bananas and other stuff like that and you can give them cheerios to eat on... And if they drink the formula milk keep giving them that and that should fill them right up.. That's what i do with my baby cuzzin and after all that i give him a bath and rub his back and he falls right asleep.....

A baby that is 8 months eats baby food,bananas,oatmeal,cereal,apple sauce,green beans,mashed potatoes.And other things NOT corn.

A child that s one ear old can eat just about anything. You can feed a one year old solid foods, stage 3 baby food and milk.

A 6 month old child still has sensitive nutritional needs. Feeding with supplementary formula should continue, and solid baby food should be experimented with at this age.
