What forms does matter come in?

Answer:
Solid, Liquid, Gas.

Good as far as it goes, but there is a fourth state of matter called plasma.
This is like a gas, but has been highly ionised. That means that most, if not all, of the electrons have been stripped away from the atomic nuclei. Plasma is very energetic; a plasma torch will melt both steel and stone until it runs like water.
