Fruit is good for most people but it can be a problem if you are diabetic.

If you are diabetic, fruit is something of which you need to be wary. Count your carbohydrates (this includes fruit) for each meal. You need to determine how many carbohydrates are safe for you (every diabetic is different) by testing your blood sugar, with your glucometer, one hour after each meal and then again two hours after the meal. Some people with Diabetes can occasionally eat a little fruit. Other people with diabetes cannot eat any fruit at all. Never take risks, use your glucose meter to check, otherwise you risk your eyesight, your limbs, your kidneys, your heart, and your life.

No. The answer is NOT "all". Fruits with a glycemic index below 60 are preferred. Fuits with seeds and editable skins are preferred. The fiber content is a factor. Cherries, plums, Grapefruit, peaches, and Prunes are best. But instead of what you CAN eat it's easier to know what you should NOT eat: Mango, Watermellon, Dates, Bananas, Raisins, Papaya, Figs, and Pineapples.

In my personal experience, it has been mangos and blueberries. Mangos are full of good complex carbohydrates and enzymes. Wild blueberries are some of nature's best sources of antioxidants. I can drink a vit-mix smoothy consisting of mangos, blueberries and kale (plus water) and exercise for 2 hours without experiencing the metabolic "crashes" I once did from my the inability of my cells (lack of glucose receptors) to accept glucose for cellular respiration to produce ATP, our cellular energy.

I've recently considered pyruvate supplements since pyruvate skips the ATP requiring steps of glycolysis in breaking down 1 glucose to 2 pyruvates which gets Krebs and most importantly provides the electron carrying enzymes for electron transport which produces up to 34 ATP per glucose molecule.

PS. Sweet potatoes are good too. Cut out anything white, such as regular potatos, sugar, white bleached flour, they're all to high glycemic for a diabetic. The goal is to stop overwhelming your cells with sugar - this is why they lost their glucose receptors in the first place. Once your body's cells divide into future generations, could take 6 months, they should start making the receptors again so you're not so glucose intolerant. Don't eat too much meat either because you body has gotten so good at turning proteins into sugars (including your muscle tissue). Retrain your body to extract sugars first from carbohydrates in raw foods - the best source!

The best thing to do is consult with a doctor about the best types of fruits to eat. Some fruits have a higher sugar content than others and should be avoided. Only your doctor can provide that list.
