Glues are generally not recommended for repairing thermoplastic olefins like the TPO, TEO and polypropylenes car bumpers are made out of. Virtually no adhesive will permanently bond a bumper with any sort of durability. The most cost effective way to repair a thermoplastic bumper is to use something like the Urethane Supply Company's MicroWeld 80 airless plastic welder. They are inexpensive and work VERY well, bonding the two parts back together. The process is simple. 1) Clean the part with plastic cleaner 2) V-groove the crack with a dremel tool or something similar. 3) Sand the area BY HAND with 40 grit sand paper. 4) Fill the groove with FiberFlex Universsal welding rod 5) Sink a piece of reinforcing mesh into the back of the repair and add some more FiberFlex 6) Sand the Bumper smooth on the front up to 600 grit 7) Spray on some Adhesion Promoter (1050 Plastic Magic works GREAT!) 8) Spray a primer, then your color coats of paint. In the end you will save a lot of money and the repair will make your bumper as good as new!

Can you use krazy glue on plastic GAS tank?

I have used krazy glue, super glue and epoxy on various kinds of plastic gas tanks. In my opinion epoxy does the best job and seems totally impervious to gas. -However if this concerns a road going vehicle please consider that there may be safety or insurance issues in repairs to gas tanks. If I encountered a crack on a gas tank in one of my road vehicles, I would find another good tank rather than repairing one.

Can you crazy glue plastic to plastic?

Depends on the type of plastic. Many plastics have glue made from their solutions. Some can be partially dissolved and joined together by the right chemical, some needs to be prepped with an etching agent to get a glue to stick to them.

Can you use superglue on stained glass projects?

I wouldn't, superglue or CA glue when cured becomes very brittle, its like hard plastic, when your stained glass project flexes, (and it will) the the CA glue will crack and fail.

Will glue hold crack plastic coolant reservoir?

not usually. Suggest getting a plastic tank repair kit, (epoxy base) or for larger repairs, they make a tool like a solder iron that heats up a plastic block of material that you drip onto the crack and the old tank to seal it. Harbor freight sells them...

How can you safely fix a crack in the side of the plastic base of a bird cage until you can get a new cage?

I would remove the bird from the cage during the repair if possible, then place Krazy Glue or another good adhesive glue in the crack, the put duct tape over the top of the crack to help seal it in place. The fumes from the adhesive may irritate the bird, which is why you may want to relocate the bird until the glue sets (about 10 minutes or so).
