What happen at diastole?

Answer:
Ok Diastole is the Relaxation of the heart :)

1) Blood returns through the heart from the Vena Cava ( BODY) and the Pulmonary veins ( LUNGS)

2)This causes pressure to build in the atrium , this pushes open the atrioventricular valves ( Bicuspid/Tricuspid) -Blood Enters the Ventricles ( Atrium and ventricular walls are relaxed).

3) The relaxation of the Ventricles lowers the pressure within them.

4) This causes the pressure to be lower than that of the Aorta and the pulmonary artery.

5) This lower pressure causes the semi-lunar valves of the Aorta and Pulmonary artery to close - GIVES 'DUB' SOUND HEART BEAT
