After World War 1 - the Germans were loosing ground left and right and surrendered - Hitler killed himself by shooting himself in the head. He had first given his girlfriend a pioson pill. He was too scared to eat one himself, so he gave it to his best, favorite dog Goldie. Then he shot himself.
