After her sister Anne became queen, Mary secretly married and became pregnant by Sir William Stafford. Anne was not exactly pleased and banished her from court. Mary never saw the court again and lived in the countryside until her death in 1543. She may have had two more children after Catherine and Henry Carey.

Mary Boleyn is generally believed to have been born in 1499 (making her the oldest of her siblings). She died in 1543 which means she was approximately 44 years old when she died. Hope this helps.

Mary was actually already married (to Willaim Carey) when her affair with Henry began. It is alleged that one or both of Mary's children (Catherine, 1524; Henry, 1526) were actually King Henry's children and not that of her husband.

In 1534, Mary secretly married a soldier named William Stafford without the permission of her sister (the Queen) Anne. The Boleyn family subsequently disowned her, either for marrying without their permission or below their station.

Mary's life between 1534 and her sister's execution on 19 May 1536 is difficult to trace. It is known that her financial circumstances became desperate enough that she was reduced to begging Thomas Cromwell, the King's advisor, to speak to Anne and Henry on her behalf. Anne eventually relented, sending her a golden cup and some money, although it is not thought that they met after Mary's exile. Mary and her husbands remained outcasts.

After Anne's execution, their parents both retired from court and died a few years later. After the deaths of her parents, Mary inherited some property in Essex. She seems to have lived the rest of her life in obscurity from court and relative comfort with her second husband. She died in her early 40s on July 19th 1543.
