∙ 14y agoJanet Weidenheimer, known as 'Nana Janet' on the Gosselin reality show 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' was a dear friend of the Gosselins that appeared on a few episodes of their reality show.
Her spunky personality caught the attention of many viewers, who continued to wonder "where's Nana Janet" long after she was no longer featured on the Gosselin's reality show. Her warmth and enthusiasm were contagious.. even to viewers who only caught a snippet of her in action.
Sadly, Weidenheimer died October 28, 2009. She continued to live in the same area as the Gosselins, but stayed off camera and was not seen for the last couple of seasons.
