it affected her because she was blind
No, she wasn't blind, she could see until the end of her life in 1901. She was very severely emotionally affected by Prince Albert's death, and shut herself away from public life for over a year. She needed much persuasion to show herself in public again.
Originally it was believed that Prince Albert died of typhoid but it has been documented that he had many abdominal issues through out his life.
This has lead scientists to postulate that he had Crohn's Disease which is a far more likely cause of death
She became withdrawn, obsessive, but most importantly, she realized there could be love after Albert.
Modern writers have pointed out that He died of Renal Failure or Cancer. The cause listed at the time of his death was typhoid fever
died of scurvy
She felt really sad at first, because she loved her husband, Prince Albert. She mourned his death for the rest of her life..

they must have felt proud as they would now have a king and a queen and that Victoria would have been happy as well so they would have a Happy king and queen by Alisha 10

Queen Victoria was privately tutored at her mothers palace
She felt very happy and glad that she had got chosen
Queen Victoria must of felt extereemly proud; as even though she knew that, that moment was going to come at some point she must never have imaganed it to be as wonderfull as it acshally was. She also must have felt a huge responcabilaty knowing that she was going to be queen. Plus she probably felt quite worried at this responcability. By Shanice (age 10)!
happy
Probably very happy. That's how most wives respond when their spouse dies.
Some were happy that she was getting married and therefore assuring that there would be a continuation of the monarchy. However there were others who did not like the fact that Victoria was marrying a German man who was not even a Serine Highness.
Her Uncle Leopold who was King of Belgium thought it would be a good idea for her to marry her first cousin (and the son of his brother) Albert. Victoria did not want to, but consented to have Albert and his older brother Ernest to visit her in England shortly after she became Queen. The first meeting did not go off so well, but several years later Albert came back to visit her. During this second visit Victoria found that he had matured and feel in love with him. Because she was Queen and he was only a Prince during this visit she had to propose to him.
