Most of these Indians went back to the Reservations where they passed on the things they had learned to those who stayed on the Res. I was raised in Lame Deer so I know a bit about this. The main Reason for sending Indians to Schools of the Res. was to Break them away from the Old Ways and learn how to live in the White Man's World.
